all links/redirects point correctly to gp
switch to german (links now point to gp)
here the menu bar/operation bar often remains in english
so that you have to choose another language (not english) and then switch back to german to change it.
resetting the bar to the factory setting does not change these links.
only a complete de-/install will show this correctly again.
weren't the entries for the german forum set here in the missing menu item?

The &lang=deutsch part is added automatically when you're running in German, and is what causes the redirect to the German site. If you're running Opus in English then it's not added.

The links in the buttons don't change when you switch language. Changing languages updates button labels but it doesn't modify functions.
When you're running in German, &lang=deutsch is added automatically to the URL when Opus opens the website. When you're running in English it's not added. That's all that's happening here.
It remains an open problem for other users!

Something gets mixed up when switching the language.
Either the links are then incorrect or the toolbars remain in English.
Resetting the toolbars does not work.
The issue is closed for me as it works on my system with Windows 10.
I can confirm the problem mentioned by Nobmen. Last week all my links went to the GP pages. I then did various experiments. Later, after switching between German and English a few times, all links were correct again.
Are you sure Opus wasn't running in English or another language (maybe still with German toolbars, if the translation option wasn't used when switching languages)?
I've tried it several times and it always goes to the link for the current program (not toolbar) language. I've also looked at the code and can't see how it would ever do differently, at least from simply switching languages.

the installed german windows 10/11 with english login account extended.
added the possible addition to switch to english language for german windows.
when the installed english dopus version switches to german and back
the problem with the wrong toolbars also occurs from time to time!
