I wonder:
Is there a way to hide an icon on a toolbar, if the programm (its *.exe-file) is not available?
I got this question, because when exporting/importing DO configurations between machines, I get those yellow big smileys in toolbars for each quick-launch icon, which does not find it's exe-file/icon. Or is there an easy way to change the default yellow big smiley (looking similar to this -> ) into something more serious?.. o)
You should be able to make an icon set which overrides the smiley icon with its own icon of your choice.
(Another option is to make an icon set containing the program icons so you can refer to the icons in the set without the EXEs needing to be there. Of course, the buttons still won't work if they need the missing EXEs, but things will at least look consistent.)
Mhh, that took me some fiddling but, I got it!.. o)
I somehow managed to create a new icon set, containing only one transparent icon with id = "smiley".
That icon set pushed to the top of the icon set list in the prefs, leads to all smileys being blank/transparent/empty now.
That should do it! If anybody likes to try this, the icon-set is attached (remove the "zip" extension after downloading!).
Thank you Leo!.. o)
ps: What I did not understand:
Where is the current default DO11 icon set located in the filesystem? At "/dopusdata", "/dopusglobaldata" I did find two older sets (in "Icons"), shouldn't the default set be there as well? DOpusNoSmiley.dis.zip (994 Bytes)
