How can I add space to the left side of the file name column?

Now the file name column clings to the sidebar, I can't box files from left to right,Windows Explorer has a few pixels blank area between side bar and file name column , the mouse can start from here to box files from left to right, in Directory Opus how to achieve it?

In Directory Opus, in the "Details" view, there is no blank space to the left of the "File Name" column, which prevents the mouse from being able to drag a rectangular selection box from left to right to select files. How can I add a blank space there?

In Preferences / File Display Modes / Details deselect "Full row" in File selection / highlighting style and/or check Begin lasso on filenames.

I have the same issue as him, thank you for your reply, but using the "Begin lasso on filenames" feature requires a keyboard. I wonder if it's possible to operate entirely with a mouse? Windows Explorer can leave pixel points in front of each line while selecting the entire row. I hope these two features can be compatible in Opus.

Try inserting an empty column like this:

Blank / Spacer Column

Can I have a few more pixels in front while selecting the "Full row" mode to allow me to frame the desired content? Currently, the gap in front only allows the file to move and cannot be used for framing

This can only be used in non-"Full row" mode; otherwise, the additional column added at the front will also be considered part of the "Full row" and cannot be used as the starting point for box selection

Yes, "Full row" + "no keyboard" + "starting on the left" will require a bit of extra margin. I don't think that's implemented yet, but maybe in a future version?

We've added an option for this in the next beta.
