How to Change the Default Folder Icon?

Ho, Ho, Ho! Merry Christmas!

Santa here. I'm busy cataloging all the presents that I delivered 3 nights ago. I feel stupid for asking but how do you change the default folder icon? I see a post that is dated 2008 and 2007. I don't know if there is a more recent, better way to change it.

How it works in Windows hasn't changed in a long time, so the old posts are probably still valid, depending on what they say.
