How to set Opus and image viewer as a process separately?

When the button command line has New, Opus will open a new process, which is a Lister, instead of opening a new tab. It is inconvenient to switch between tabs.

When I browse pictures, I open many image viewers unknowingly, I really do n’t know which one I want.

If they all just open a process, there will be no trouble.

Does Preferences / Viewer / Behavior / Reuse existing viewer window do what you want?

If you double-click an image and a viewer is already open, it will tell that viewer to change to the image instead of opening a new viewer.
