The Tooltip system for (hovering over) files and folders are really useful and I have customized them allot.
Is there a way to access them when only using the keyboard? I am thinking of something like a hotkey.

Hold Ctrl to display an infotip for the file that currently has keyboard focus (i.e. the outlined file).
You can change the delay under Preferences / File Displays / Options.
