We have the info we can look at when hovering over the lock status icon.
But when we lock a format we lose that info. Could there be an option to preserve this info please.
Also, is there a way to have that info tooltip pop up on a button?

+1 ~ can go in my folder format menu.
You made a script for this?
No, just have a menu button with save format, folder options, save format dialog and delete format. Format info will make a nice addition to it.
Ya true.
I had made a format lock button:
So now I have a redundancy for lock icons. They both open/close when locking the format. That's no good. My lock is right beside my format drop down box, so I don't have to cross the whole lister with my mouse to change and lock the format.
So it would be nice to hold my tooltip modifier and it show this info, so that I can get rid of the status icon; only having one icon. Or this tooltip on the format box would be fine too.
I would even be fine with all of it on the format box, getting rid of the button too. Modifier keys held down would perform the locking etc. Letters would be blue when locked, or something. Or have a little icon in the box itself, or merge an icon to the side of it.
Ctrl + click = toggle lock.
Shift + click = user default format.
Middle Mouse button click = reset to content folder format.
In the next update we'll change it so the tooltip continues to show the folder format etc information even when the format is locked.
Very good, thank you.
You know the format box appearance is still glitchy when resetting it or even setting it indirectly with a button command.
