No markup WYSIWYG post editor mode

Could you please add a single-pane preview-only WYSIWYG mode that doesn't show any markup (not split between raw text and preview)?
Two-pane view only wastes space and distracts with extra visual text moving in the periphery

Then for markup like ` I'd prefer the markup mode to only be visible when the caret is at that spot instead of always having to stare at this ugliness for a single backtick

``` ` ```
when I could only see it temporarily when entering text or getting back to that spot, otherwise I'd see a nice inlined do1 all the time
same thing: you pick and configure one
It's open source if you want to make the desired changes and submit it to the project.
Oh, since it's open source you can actually write forum software you use to provide your commercial services
Besides, have any of you even checked what configuration is available before being so dismissive???
We write file management software, not forum software. We also don't write the web server that runs our website, for example.
That didn't stop you from offering me to write forum software for your commercial app.
Also, writing your forum software isn't the only option. The one you ignored is checking configuration. Dopus has them. Some web apps also do. You do configure your web server that runs your website, do you not? Some offer style support, that would solve Full width post editor, some even allow to pick an alternative editor, which would solve this issue
Then the other is picking a better forum software, more friendly formatted versions do exist
FWIW I like the raw markup in this forum's editor and the rendered preview on the side as it enables a total control over formatting.
Some software (like MS Teams) have it integrated and I hate it since for example if you make something code-formatted it can be tricky to escape the formatting for the next things you're typing without fiddling with the UI buttons for it or cursor keys. The list auto-formatting can also be PITA in such scenarios.
FWIW I prefer the developers focus their limited capacity on DOpus development and refinement.
