This is a three button.
Left click will open the recycle bin in a new tab.
Right click will empty the recycle bin and close the tab.
Middle mouse button will secure wipe X3 pass the recycle bin.
Close tab uses 'Close Tabs version 2':
Here's the pics by themselves. (The icons but .png files). Right click to save as.
You will have to change the pictures path in the button. And of course you could change the button however you want. The right click bypasses a confirmation box. Remove the FORCE word to make it have a confirmation. Add FORCE to the end of the secure wipe to bypass confirmation. Or if you don't want a secure wipe just delete out that button.
This is a modification of the dual recycle bin:
So Oscar will pop up, choked that you threw trash in his house.
UPDATE: Added sounds.
To make it more fun you can add a sound when the recycle bin closes.
Windows has an empty recycle bin system sound. You can use that, or you can use the button code (If you use the button code you can't have a sound on the windows setting or they will both play when you use the button to empty the recycle bin).
Play (path) QUIET
Here is some official Sesame Street sound clips. Various groans, lid closes, phrases. Oscar Sounds.zip (7.3 MB)
Trimmed, denoised, somewhat volume matched. Let me know if you need 44.1kHz or to combine groans with lid closes or something.
They have spaces in the file names so you will need quotes around the path I think.
You could add an annoyed Oscar sound onto your delete key, anytime you delete a file but it would be better if it's just the first file, when he pops up. You could probably do a global variable that will only let the sound run once, then after only if the empty recycle bin button has run, which would have a code onboard that resets this "delete sound" variable. But I haven't tried it.
...
Oscar why are you such a grouch?
"Oh I dunno, maybe cause I live IN A FKN GARBAGE CAN!"
I'm not sure how to get the right click empty = recycle bin to update the icon back to empty, if I didn't first open it in a new tab. It's odd because the secure wipe does update it. I've tried everything.
Here's a slightly bigger head. It helps a bit because it gets shrunk so much.
Hey, could you help me figure out why it's not updating back to empty on right click?
I can't seem to get my other buttons to be dynamic either. Working on that now.
I downloaded it and checked and the right click is Delete EMPTYRECYCLE FORCE
Don't need a confirmation for that. I should note that if someone wants a confirm they have to
delete out the FORCE part. I didn't put FORCE on the secure wipe for misclick protection for that more serious file execution.
But the challenge to make the icon work has to be ,RECYCLEBINEMPTY (at least I think).
I don't know why it's working for you. Even when I get a confirmation it won't revert back to the empty recycle bin, until I do something else like refresh.
If I first open it in new tab then it works, but that's not what I'm saying.
Right click should be independent. You could empty the recycle bin at any time without having to first go into it. And so Oscar should just go back in his trash can on right click.
So now I'm trying out, making the right click first opens recycle bin in new tab (same as left click) then the rest of it. So auto-close will close it, and so it triggers the icon to go back. If the recycle bin tab is already open there will be two tabs but auto-close closes them both.
But it looks like garbage. I think there's a command to tell a button to not show the visuals when processing a button, but I can't find it now.
The reason is there is only a recycle bin empty challenge. I don't see a "full" one.
So the default has to be open, or else there isn't any connection to that icon.
So Oscars' head up is the default and then it is overridden by the icon challenge of empty.
Either way the three button icon should be overridden by the icon code. It is, except I have to click something or refresh for it to work. It's so strange because the secure wipe works properly, but it's basically no different than the right click, empty.
I've tried using @toggleupdate on all the buttons. Tried using @iconp instead of @icon. Tried rearranging where each button is on the mouse. Tried making all button icons closed. Tried all icons open. Tried using a recyclbinempty and a recyclebinfull challenges. Tried putting the @icon code on all three buttons. Tried getting rid of the path quotes. Tried adding a slash at the beginning. Tried using the double click on the @icon button to put in the path instead of the 'Insert File'.
I'd post a video, but my old Solveig Hypercam program is throwing an error on videos at the moment. Time to upgrade, but it is really Russian Federation and prices have gone beyond reason. Maybe I'll get it going again
I'm not sure what caused it. It was working good not long ago.
Edit Note: This post got me the CLICK HERE: Link your account for priority support message.
LOL !
Ya, that's how it's supposed to work. Why does it matter? Cause it's supposed be a whack-a-mole. That you tell Oscar to go back home, stop being grumpy.
See that I have to click on a file before it will work but the secure wipe works.
I noticed while reviewing this vid that the other icons on that toolbar blink when I click a file.
That reveals the issue. But I've already made that vertical toolbar be a user toolbar, instead of a factory one. Tried out the toolbar settings too. Tried moving Oscar to other toolbars. When it was on the main top toolbar it worked the first time. Tried again and of course it was just a fluke. Oscar is just being a stubborn boii.
FWIW,
I have my Solveig Hypercam working again for videos.
Screenshots always worked.
I reset all pages in options to default and started again with my settings.
