Populating image properties in file lister columns

I want to sort a lot of images by image width/height and date-taken etc, but the columns do not populate.
The details are in the files but they don't seem to show up.

  • I have Dopus 13.5.1 (licensemanager here only says 12, but I have full 13 too).
  • only have ONE lister open
  • there are TWO files in the folder to show (but it also doesn't work on other folders like the Windows/Pictures folder with hundreds of files)
  • I've seen a jscript for audio/video-columns in the help files, but can not change it to use it for pictures.
  • I've tried other meta date as well t no avail. Almost all columns are empty. What am I doing wrong?

Have you tried restarting Opus? (File > Exit Directory Opus)

If that fixes it, the metadata threads were probably hung on files they were asked to inspect earlier. That usually only happens with video files combined with buggy video codecs/splitters, although there can be other causes.

Well.... that was it! Magically the meta data is shown!
