Recommended Upgrade Procedure

Simplest question of all and didn't see it in the F.A.Q.
I have 9.5.6 running on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. Should I uninstall it when upgrading to DOPUS 10, or is it safe and recommended to install 10 without uninstalling 9.5.6?

Have a look in this thread:

It's certainly safe, but Opus 10 introduces several new/changed toolbars which are worth a look so you might consider backing up your Opus 9 configuration, uninstalling 9, and clean installing 10. I like to take a backup of "vanilla" settings immediately after a clean install and then start customising.

You get the new toolbars whether you do a clean install or an update, so there's no real need to do an uninstall first, unless you want to make sure you get the new Preferences defaults as well (e.g. new colours for the source/destination file displays).

If you install over your old config, your old toolbars & menus will still exist but not be turned on; instead the new default ones will be shown. You can turn your old ones back on via Customize.

Upgrade with the release of 10.1 ...

Any particular reason you think that??
