Remember state of expanded/collapsed groups

Hi!

Now that we have "Go REFRESH=state", may I petition to have it remember the state of expanded/collapsed groups?

Go REFRESH=state today:

Causes things like file selections and scroll position to be remembered when the folder is refreshed. Note that expanded folder state is not remembered by default - this can be enabled by adding the expanded keyword, or turning on the option in Preferences. If expanded folder state is remembered then the other state elements are also remembered automatically - so the state keyword is only effective if folder expansion is not being remembered.

Some previous requests of similar things:

(Just to keep this clear, since they have been confused in other threads, this request has nothing to do with expanded/collapsed folders which already has great support for remembering the states.)

We've added that for the next beta.

Thank you, the new setting in the 13.20.2 Beta works great, for most things.

Sadly it does not seem to work for File Collections with Stored Queries, which of course was exactly where I wanted to use it

Maybe this is because of the way the Stored Query will re-populate the lister "dynamically" or whatever you might call it. Or maybe the Stored Query is too complex and takes too long.

However, it still doesn't work for indexed stored queries though (via Everything), when the re-population in the lister is pretty much instant, so the speed might not be the issue, but perhaps a timing issue..?

I understand if this is a step too far for the setting to work if it's too complex, but I just thought I'd bring it up, in case it was just a simple oversight and if the setting can be expanded to stored queries as well :crossed_fingers:

This has been fixed for the next beta.
