Every time I want to sort the videos by duration, bitrate or resolution (etc), it takes a couple hours to do so. EVERY TIME. There must be some kind of way to retain this info because this is really taxing to the HDD not to mention my nerves.
Use DAM solution, not a file manager, to manage multimedia.
Caching for metadata is something we may add in the future, but doesn’t exist currently (outside of some script add-ins, which cache things their own way).
so using scripts, the data would not be available to Directory Opus's sorting of files, only search?
