Unable to enable Dual Display & set new display to List View

I use Directory Opus pretty much exclusively in List view mode, yet I keep running into the problem of new listers opening in Details view mode.

This problem is especially evident when toggling between Single Display and Dual Display modes.

Even though my default lister is in List view mode, the internal command

Set DUAL=Toggle
Set VIEW=List

still keeps opening the new display in Details mode.

How can I amend this command script to always open new displays in List mode? I've tried things like changing FOCUS without success.

If you always want to use List view (or any other mode), don't use special commands. Instead, set up the default folder format so everything always uses List view by default:
