Use Power Mode in all folders

I stay in power mode. If I open a folder that has thumbnails in it. DO switches to Thumbnail mode.
Is there a way to stop this ?

Thank You. That was the only thing that bothered me since day one. If I backup settings will that import to another comuter ?
