I receive this error when using version 1.2.4:

You need to add the script column, or comment out/remove this line of code.

That cleared the error. When selecting a file and adding a tag, it does not add anything to the Tags column of the tagged file. Where are the tags actually added?

This script writes tags to Alternate data stream (ADS), not to metadata tags.
If you haven't added ADS script column, you can see them when editing tags.
